Disassociate creates a state of anxiety through its use of an increasingly distorted breathing soundscape, interspersed drawn versions of the main character, and a slow decomposition of creepy scenes. By subsequently placing the viewer in and out of a first-person perspective, the video attempts to engage them in experiencing real disassociation.
